How Afterhi works
- Scan the Afterhi code on the table stand. You’re visible to people at that venue for 3 hours, or until you tap Leave.
- Say hi to someone. They only find out if they say hi to you too.
- When it’s mutual, go and meet. Afterwards you both choose whether to keep in touch; a chat opens only if you both say yes.
Staying safe
- Meet inside the venue, where other people are around.
- Take your time before sharing your number, address or social accounts.
- If something feels off, it probably is. You can leave the venue in the app at any time.
- In an emergency in Türkiye, call 112.
Block or report
Tap ••• on someone’s profile, in People you met, or in your chat with them. Blocking hides you from each other everywhere, straight away. A report reaches us with the reason you choose; we review reports within 24 hours.
If you parted with someone (Not now, or no chat after Keep in touch?), you won’t see each other again either.
Your profile
- Edit your name, intention and “Ask me about…” in Profile.
- Only want to stop being visible? Tap Leave venue: nothing is deleted.
- Profile → Delete profile deletes your profile, photo and chats for good. See what we keep and why.
