Afterhi is for the room you’re already in . It shows who’s here and open to saying hi — then gets out of the way, so you can actually meet.
One venue at a time
You’re visible only to people checked in at the same venue, and only while you’re there.
Three hours, then gone
Your check-in ends on its own. Leave any time before that, with one tap.
A current photo
Taken at the venue, so whoever walks over can spot your outfit across the room.
A visit, start to finish.
Six steps. Most of them happen face to face.
Scan the stand
Find the silver stand on the table and scan its code. It tells Afterhi where you are — nothing more.
Check in with a current photo
Take a photo there and add a few words. People checked in at the same venue can see you for 3 hours.
Say hi, quietly
Turn through who’s here and say hi to someone. Only you know — Deniz isn’t told unless Deniz says hi too.
It’s mutual
Both phones find out at the same moment. Neither says who said hi first. One of you walks over; the photo helps you find each other.
Clink
When you meet, touch the tops of your phones together, like a toast. A card lands with a question for you both. Then put the phones away.
Keep in touch?
After the visit, you each decide by 12:00 the next day. Your chat opens only if you both want it.
Only you know you said hi.
Saying hi changes nothing on the other phone — no badge, no count, no notification. Only when you both say hi does anything happen, and then both phones find out at the same moment.
Nobody is told no
A hi that isn’t returned is never shown to anyone. It simply ends with the visit.
Nothing on your lock screen
Notifications never show a name or a photo. The venue is the most they say.
Made for a dim, loud room
One glance while walking over. Dark screens that don’t light up the table, and two quick taps instead of a sound.
You decide what’s next
Leave a venue whenever you like. Block or report anyone. A chat opens only if you both want to keep in touch.
Say why you’re here.
Socialising, new business or dating — you choose. It sits under your name, so a hi is never a guess.

Put a stand on the table.
Guests scan it, check in with a current photo, and see who else is open to saying hi — only while they’re at your venue.

Questions
Is Afterhi a dating app?
It’s for meeting someone in the room you’re in. Some people are here to date, some for new business, many just to talk — and everyone’s reason shows under their name.
Who can see me?
Only people checked in at the same venue, while you’re both there. Nobody can browse you from home, and you’re visible at one venue at a time.
What if I say hi and they don’t?
Nothing happens. They’re never told, and the hi quietly ends with the visit. You can take a waiting hi back once per visit.
What is Clink?
Touching the tops of your phones together when you meet, like a toast. It shows you found each other and deals a card with a question for you both. Can’t clink? There’s a button for that.
Where is my photo shown?
Only at the venue where you took it, to people checked in there, during your visit.
How do I delete my data?
From Profile in the app — or from the web if you no longer have it.
Next time you’re out, look for the stand.
Afterhi is coming to the App Store soon. Until then, it’s in a small pilot.
