Child safety standards

Afterhi is for people 18 and over. We don’t tolerate child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, or any content or contact that sexualises a minor.

Who can use Afterhi

• You must be 18 or older. Everyone confirms this before their profile is made (Terms).
• We delete any profile we believe belongs to someone under 18.

What isn’t allowed

• Sharing, asking for or linking to sexual content involving a minor.
• Grooming, sexualising or exploiting a minor in any way, including by threats or by offering something in return.
• Contacting anyone you think is under 18.

How Afterhi keeps it out

• Your profile photo is a selfie taken in the app. It is checked automatically before anyone sees it, and photos with nudity or sexual content are refused.
• Chats are text only: no photos, videos or files can be sent.
• You’re visible only at a venue you checked in to, and only for 3 hours.

Report a concern

• In the app: tap ••• on someone’s profile, in People you met, or in your chat, then Report → Seems under 18 (or Inappropriate photo). They aren’t told who reported. We review reports within 24 hours.
• By email: hello@afterhi.app, subject “Child safety”.
• If a child is in danger right now in Türkiye, call 112.

What we do

When we learn of CSAE or CSAM on Afterhi, we remove the content and delete the profile straight away. We keep only what the law requires as evidence, report it to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the Turkish authorities through İhbar Web, and cooperate with law enforcement. We follow the child safety laws that apply to us.
