In the app

Open Afterhi, go to Profile → Delete profile and confirm. Your profile, photo, visits, hi’s, meetings, notes, chats and blocks are deleted straight away, and you can’t undo it. What we keep after that, and why.

Without the app

Your account is a key kept on your iPhone, so installing Afterhi again on the same iPhone usually brings your profile back. Then delete it as above.

If that doesn’t work, email hello@afterhi.app with the subject “Delete my Afterhi data” and tell us:

• the first name on your profile;
• the venue and the date of your last visit.

We have no email address or phone number for you, so these are how we find your profile. If more than one profile matches, we’ll ask for something only you would know, like your intention or your “Ask me about…” line. We delete it as if you had done it in the app and reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What goes on its own

• Your visibility at a venue ends 3 hours after you check in.
• A hi that wasn’t returned is deleted within a day.
• Sealed notes are deleted unread at 12:00 the day after the visit, unless you both chose to keep in touch.
• Your photo is deleted after 90 days without a visit.

The rest stays until you delete your profile. All of it is in the Privacy Policy.
